The ice sculpting at Lake Louise has continued over the weekend. These guys are doing some fantastic work! Couldn’t help but capture the moment.

This was taken on a very cold winter night in Regina Saskatchewan. I on assignment shooting a hotel and stuck in my room as it was -37 outside. I looked out the window and huge snow flakes were falling and the city was glowing orange. I like to say it was orange because of all the lights reflecting off the huge snow flakes…. not sure if that is true or not but I am sticking with that story. Looking out at this amazing light I just had to brave the cold and get a few images. This is a 360 with a bracket of 9. The snow flakes are not visible because of the long exposure.

This is a shot of down town Calgary with a bit of a twist. I liked how the shadow on the wall and the building across the street lined up to create a V.

This is a train speeding along the tracks near my home in Canmore Alberta. By having a slower shutter speed trains can become a beautiful streak of colour.

Calgary in the rain at night. I did a series of 360 Calgary sky lines in the rain. The rain makes everything reflect creating a very interesting image.

The lack of contrast between the sky and the old building fascinated me. I did a series of these images.

My dog Pace poses in a oil field garbage container. Looks like today at Banff Photography we have a pet theme!

Another image from the fishing lure collection. The concept is to animate antique fishing lures in an artificial environment that would be found where fish live. The background is cement from a dam. I first shot the cement of the dam when the water level dropped. I then printed the photo and mounted it to the back of a large aquarium in the studio. I rigged up the lure to drop the way I wanted and shot until I had the image I was looking for. Hasselblad H1 Imacon digital back and 80mm lens
